Background
Why leaders call me
I've spent my career inside the organizations I now advise. I'm Lead Pastor of Crossroads Bible Church in San Jose, where I've led for more than eight years. Before that I served as Operations Pastor at Highlands Church & School in San Bruno, overseeing budgets, staff, systems, and a 60,000-square-foot facility project for a church of 1,300 and a school of 500. At Centerpoint Church on Long Island, I helped lead through growth from about 200 to more than 1,200. At The King's Academy in Sunnyvale, I directed ministry initiatives for a school of 1,200 students.
I'm a Marine Corps veteran with an M.A. in Theology. I think in systems: inputs, incentives, bottlenecks, and results. And I tell leaders the truth, kindly, even when it isn't what they hoped to hear.

Common questions
Do you only work with churches?
No. I work with churches, parachurch ministries, nonprofits, Christian schools, and businesses that want to lead by their values. I bring my convictions, but my job is to serve your mission and your leadership.
Are you still pastoring?
Yes. I lead Crossroads Bible Church in San Jose. I take on a small number of engagements at a time so each one gets real attention.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope. After our first conversation I'll send a written proposal with a fixed price. No hourly surprises.
Is this confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between me and your leadership team.
Do you work remotely?
Assessments are best done in person, and I'm based in the Bay Area. Coaching can be done remotely.
